401(k) Forum (401Kafe Community): Sample #1 : Sample #2

This was my first redesign of the 401Kafe.com retirement community web site. The tabs are constructed of gif images in Photoshop.

401(k) Forum (IRA Junction): Sample #1 : Sample #2

Click above for samples of the IRA Junction web site. This design represents the first implementation of the IRA Junction, provided by 401(k) Forum, LLC. I feel it is one of my cleaner web site designs. Images (gifs) are used for the tabs and subtabs. The scanlines across the top, combined with the soft colors used for the headings and tabs, gives the site a professionally aesthetic feel to it. The first sample is of the IRA Junction home page, and the second being of the IRA Junction FAQ page.

401(k) Forum (Pie Charts): Sample

Here are examples of three pie charts I was asked to do for a feature article on the 401(k) Forum community web site. I used Adobe Photoshop layers and channels to create the 3-dimensional effects and drop shadows. You will also notice the use of the gradient tool to simulate the desired lighting effect.

mPower (Retirement Portal): Sample

This working wireframe demo was built in an effort to show prospective investors and clients what the next generation retirement portal from mPower.com will look like and it's functionality. In addition to an expandable width (100% - minimum 600 px) and text based navigation, the demo also has ASP embedded within the html pages rendering a working demo of various retirement simulations (Microsoft's Personal Webserver or IIS required).

mPower (XML demo): Sample

This layout was contrived as a working XML demonstration of the proposed site redesign for distribution of the content in xml to 3rd parties. Basically, this design had to have a "vanilla" look and feel to it, one that would work across all 3rd party site designs. I came up with a subtle tab structure with sidebar navigation, expandable to 100% (minimum was 450px). This allowed for me to take a client's design template, and insert the mPower content into a table cell within their template.

Refugee Transitions: Sample

I redesigned the sidebar navigation for this site. Also cleaned up the look and feel of the content with consistent fonts for paragraphs, headings, and subheadings.
